The Girard City Health Department

PURPOSE: To maintain, protect, and improve the health of the community through public and environmental health rules mandated by the Ohio Revised Code and/or the Ohio Administrative Code.

SERVICES: Available to all city residents--most free of charge. Home Health Nursing, child and adult immunizations, Bureau for Children with Medical Handicaps follow-up, communicable disease reporting and follow-up, Vital Statistics, agency referral, building, plumbing, and housing inspection and licensing; regulation, inspection and licensing of food service operations.

BOARD MEETINGS: Fourth Wednesday of the month, 7:00 p.m., with a recess for the months of July and August
